It is that time of year again. The holidays are here and that means spending quality time with your family and friends. Some people cannot do so as they are giving birth to a newborn child. This means that many holiday plans must be put off for the child.
To make things more festive and fun one hospital, Magee-Women’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, began to wrap newborns in stockings. Rather than using the traditional blankets, these nurses used stockings for each newborn child.
Magee nurses have been organizing the event for several years, and they give away dozens of tiny hats each holiday season.
What do you think of this for families that do not celebrate Christmas?
